Where can I get one?

Someone suggested I cannot be objective If I've never read the Koran. I agree and frankly I've wanted to check to see if somethings I've heard were true so it's a good idea (I think) for me to read it myself.

Hmm. Amazon.com has just about EVERYTHING, or so I've been told (don't do much online shopping). Try there, but you might also try:

www.bn.com (Barnes&Noble Online)
www.borders.com (Borders Books Online)

These are the two biggest chain bookstores in the US - if any bookstore has a Koran (try looking under "Q'uran" and "Qu'ran" too), one of these will be it. Both sites also tend to have free shipping if your purchase is over $X (the amount varies), so you could even find yourself not having to pay S&H.

If you belong to a religion that studies the Koran and this doesn't help, I'd suggest speaking with your religious leader - he or she may have some suggestions.

Good luck!
