Try using hair mayonnaise. My daughter's hair is natural and extremely curly also. It also used to come out when I washed it and I used hair mayonnaise as conditioner. I put on a plastic cap for five minutes and rinsed. While still wet I greased her scalp and then blowdried it. It helped a lot. Also try combing your hair while the mayo is in before putting on the plastic cap to get most of the kinks out before it dries. That helped my daughter also.

Try mixing powdered sage with your shampoo. This happened when my daughter's hair was falling out to where she had a bald spot in the back of her head. So, I just mixed about 3 or 4 teaspoons of sage with a clarifying shampoo, washed her hair about every other day, and now you can't even tell that a bald spot was even there.

So maybe you could try that and see if that works.
