When I was younger, I lived up North. I had a friend who dated a guy who would drive five hours away just to go to White Castle.
It apparently has the power over some people.
And now a days, people are doing whatever they can to be crazy or over the top so that people don't ever forget about their weddings!

I actually saw some pictures from a White Castle wedding google ghetto weddings and you'll see it, it's too too funny but kind of sweet I suppose maybe they met while working there.

Maybe they wanted there wedding at a castle but couldn't afford a fancy one.
Or maybe they felt white castle was appropriate because that's where they first met.
I've heard of people getting married at my local McDonald's, because that's where they first met.

Last weekend we saw someone having their reception at this trashy little bar that we go to sometimes. It was right next-door to the trailor park. Interesting....
