I'm not talking about when you spin in a circle really, really fast and then get really dizzy. This morning I woke up with my head spinning. I had never been so dizzy in my whole life before. I was so dizzy that I thought I was going to throw up! I could not focus my eyes on one object because everything was moving so fast and I couldn't walk straight. It's been about three hours and it has gotten better but the dizzyness lasted for a good 2 hours. Why did this happen? What is the cause of dizzyness? I'm not on medication, I'm not sick... why did this happen? Thanks.

1. You feel dizzy when you spin in circles because the fluid behind your ears will be in spin mode and till such time it settles you will feel dizzy. This fluid in the inner ear is responsible for your equilibrium. 2. When you feel dizzy when you wake up in the morning, it may be due to excessive drinking/drugs you did the night before. 3. If you do not have the habi t of drinking or do not do drugs, then it is due to
High BP / Low BP / or due to some initial symptom of vertigo due to bad posture of sleep.
Check all this and if dizziness disappears, then you are okay.

Yes, it's been happening to me for the past two weeks. I even fell the first day it happened. When I take a shower anymore I don't close my eyes when I wash my face because I get too dizzy. I hope you go to the dr and find out what's wrong. Please give your daddy a hug from Patty.
