I have a guy friend that has a really annoying ex-gf on his back. The two broke up, and she apparently has another bf who she really really loves, but a few weeks ago, she told my guy friend that she loves him and wants back with him, but hes over her, and doesnt know what to do. This girl wont take a hint and leave him alone, and i feel sorry for her bf, who doesnt know this is going on. What advice can I give my guy friend?
Thanks!

ignore her!

if she can say those things to your friend when she is already in a relationship, it shows she can't be trusted and doesn't respect whoever she is going out with.

this girl can't be trusted, and she's his ex for a reason...........

tell him to remember that

Well find out for sure that he doesn't have feelings in that way anymore and if he does he needs to tell her to get rid of the other guy and they can start, START to talk and see if things will work and if he doesn't he needs to tell her and somebody needs to tell her boyfriend, preferribley her but if she doesn't somebody shoould cause all that is gonna happen is he is gonna get hurt out her game playing.

Your is over her? Than what would give the girl the idea that there might be a chance for her? These are all questions you should ask before you jump in and try to stop something that you don't want to happen.

If your "guy friend" is only throwing "hints," then it sounds like he wants to get back with her too. If he truly wanted her to go away----far far far away---unreachable---never to be seen from again---he would tell her to leave him alone.

When someone "can't take a hint," it's because the "hint" is a control mechanism; something that will keep them hanging around until they're needed or wanted again. Sounds like your "guy friend" isn't quite finished with her, yet, either.

I would tell him to make it irrevocably clear to his ex that he is not interested. I would suggest he stop accepting calls from her and thus send her a clear signal that it is indeed over.
