Well lets see, I also had a final exam on 6-6-06, but it was just band and I'm thinking I did pretty well.
Also:
- It's not 666. It's 6-6-06. As Jon Stewart said, if it were 40 years ago (6-6-66) then you might be worried. And in fact, the only time it was TRULY 666 was the year 6, and then the year wasn't even called "6," so it doesn't matter! Besides, if you think we're going to hell today, where do you think we'll go on July 11th? (7-11?) 'And it was prophecied that the beef would be jerkied and the Gulps would be Big!'
- Bradley's right, 666 might have had to do with Nero, but it wasn't "his number." It was a code number used by Christians in referring to Nero. Also, some early Revelations text actually seem to refer to it as 616, not 666, so we might have missed it back on May 1st!
- Lastly, look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_of_the_beast#Interpretations for a huge amount of interpretations of 666, including barcodes, the internet (www, look it up), and president Ronald Wilson Reagan (6 letters in each of his names) who lived at house number 666 until his wife had it changed to 668. Also, check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_of_the_Beast_%28occurrence%29 for more popular interpretations.

well, there was that stupid volcano, but everyone knew that that would happen. And it really isn't a world ending thing.

There are two reasons why I don' think anything will happen today.

1) 666 was the number of Nero, the Roman emperor. It was prophesying the genocide of Christians planned by Nero. Nero is dead, and I think 666 has passed.

2) God says no one will know the time or day the end of the earth. I think a lot of people think it will be today, and therefore, the world won't end.

yeah...you know how many 06-06-06's there have been? lol, so yeah, it says in the bible that he will come strike thee like a theif...it doesnt say any particular time, 666 is just the devils mark.....not sure if it has anything to do with the date at which judgement day will be

Yeah, not too surprising. The bible says something about the second coming of Christ.

But if you think about it something did happen today. Millions of people are thinking about God! Sure they are waiting for the Devil to pop up and start sticking people with his pitchfork, but people ARE thinking about God too. If nothing else that is a wonderful thing!
