It's highly convenient for people who want to throw God's weight about. They can say, God says you must do this! and ... God says you must do that! and... God says you must do we say...and of course God says nothing at all, never steps in just as as he never did...silent! silent! silent!

Is He really silent, or are you simply not listening?

God gives us the freedom to make our own mistakes. He wants us to Love him. He doesn't want to make us Love him by controlling us. There are reasons for the guidelines and commandments written in the Bible. They were meant to protect us from each other and things that we may do to hurt ourselves. It is interesting to note that if we did all the things written in the Bible that we are not supposed to do we would end up hurting ourselves in the process. God is not silent. His word (The Holy Bible) is the all time best selling book in the world.

EarthAngel I feel very sorry for you. God speaks to me every day. Not the way people speak to me, but in my heart. He gives me the strength to get through each day, to face the struggles of a husband who is ill, to face my own illness, to perform the tasks I must each day, to be a loving, giving member of society. I hear Him in the sound of my grandson's laughter, the birds singing outside my window, the rustling of the wind in the trees, the rain falling on the roof, etc. He is speaking to you right now. He wants you to let Him into your heart. He loves you even though you deny His very existence. I pray that you will allow Him in, that you will accept Jesus Christ as your personal LORD and Savior. God bless you!

God (and Jesus) do amazing things in my life all the time. I bet they are doing it in your life too... you may just not take note of it.

Slow down and watch. You might be amazed!
