what i mean is whats next after XP?

It's called "Vista" and will be offered in many more versions than the traditional Windows releases. Last I heard it was due out early 2007, but that of course could change.

The next major version after Windows XP is Windows Vista that is due next year January as MS has stated, but it is still unclear, since the Os was suppose to release this year, but everyone knows, Microsoft always delays its major Windows.

well u not been watching the news at all?
well it was to be called longhorn, but the name was changed to windows vista. there is beta releases all ready out.
but i would suggest waiting until the end of the year before getting windows vista.
