Bodyshops Manuka shampoo helped me for dry scalp. Haven't tried that new one, Ginger.

Dandruff might come from different causes, dry scalp, stress or exem. if it doesn't get better soon, you should ask a doctor or a hairdresser.

4 the dandruff use the shampoo SELSUN BLUE. now 4 the hair loss u should use a shampoo with walnut and rosemary. also shampoos with chile work. i hav 2 shampoos cuz i was born with thin hair and when pulled(when put hair in a ponytail) it falls out little but after time it will add up. so my mother went 2 a mexican hair salon and found me 2 shampoos 1 thats wit walnut&rosemary. the other 1 is chile&rosemary. i also used 2 hav a lil dandruff when i was trying lots of diff shampoos-dumb idea. i used the selsun blue everyday until it left. now i use my shampoo 4 hairloss 4 about 2 days then use dandruff 1 for 2 days and jus use back and forth. by time both of ur problems will stop. now i dont hav dandruff but i still use the shampoo once a week to keep it away. the other days jus stick wit the hairloss shampoo. hope i could've helped

I agree with Quietman40. It doesn't seem likely that the shampoo is causing the dandruff and the hairloss (unless you have really cruel roommates who contaminated your shampoo). See a dermatologist, they would probably be the best equipped to tell you what is going on. A hairdresser isn't going to know if it is something medical. If it is mild dandruff I would suggest Head and Shoulders shampoo or Selsun Blue. Hair loss to some degree is normal. Our hair has cycles, sometimes it grows, sometimes it falls out. But huge hair loss is more likely caused by something not related to the shampoo. Hormones can cause hair loss. I lost it by the handful after I had my children. Some medications might cause it. Stress can play into it as well. Do you have excessively dry skin or itchy skin anywhere else? Talk to a doctor and find out if it is something that needs treatment or if it is something that will resolve itself.

First, get a dandruff shampoo. Then, when you take a bath - and everytime you do - shampoo your hair very well, and then rinse it right away. RINSE IT VERY WELL. Afterwards, you can proceed with the soaping, etc.. I have had dandruff for years and my fiance had this routine of wet yourself-shampoo-rinse hair-soap-rinse body thing. I started doing that also..I did not go for it before because it was a waste of water. But after I did that, my dandruff was gone - and my fiance never had dandruff in his life. I hope it also works for you as it did for me. Take note anyhow that each one is different. If it gets really irritating, go to a skin doctor.

Warm some olive or coconut oil. Apply all over the hair. Wash your hair with yogurt. Then any shampoo so the smell goes. Use some conditioner or a spoonful of oil after the wash.
Repeat a few times after 2 / 3 days' gap. All the best.

If you can afford it I would go see a hairdresser but if you can not try their website(garnier) or they should have a 800 number, for the dandruff I would deep condition your scalp but the hair loss is scary...I wouldn't keep shampooing though that will only dry out your scalp more

You could try some really strong dandruff solution, like T-Gel, you can buy at any drug store. If that doesn't work, if your hair is still falling out, you might want to see a doctor or a dermatologist or something.

They say they know the fungus that causes it. They know some things affect it. The shampoos lessen it but do not get rid of it. They do not know why some have it and some do not or why you now have it. Maybe you can help. A friend has a theory that you get it by sleeping in the same bed with someone who has it. Were you recently in the same bed with someone you had not slept with before?

its hard to believe that your new fructis shampoo caused so much damage, but if you want to stop the dandruff just get some head and shoulders or pert plus shampoo.

First massage your hair with oil because that shampoo took your hair's moisturizer. Then go to saloon and buy some product with the help of some expert people. (be sure to wash your hair after oil massage)
