Look around you--- could things this complex develop on their own? Darwin claimed given enough time and by coincidence everything can happen (Logical?).... Albert Einstein believed in GOD -- smartest guy ever lived.

Take a look at the amazing universe all around you - The galaxies, stars and planets... the beauty of mountains and trees and everything that lives, grows and breathes on the Earth. No sane person believes that the great complexity of the natural universe in general and living organisms in particular could just exist fully formed with no cause and no origin.
So, how can any sane person possibly believe that all this amazing complexity is sourced in an intelligent designer who just exists fully formed with no cause and no origin? That would be completely absurd. The only possible explanation is that the universe had a natural origin, and that the order and complexity we observe in the universe has arisen over billions of years from disorder and chaos by the effect of unthinking, undirected natural processes. Science, in the form of cosmology and biology, shows us that this is indeed the case.
The idea of a creator god has no explanatory value - It is intellectual laziness, a non-answer, not a solution to the question of existence but a way of avoiding the question. It should and will be consigned to the history along with all our other naive superstitious beliefs.

Good question.
I guess you have to start by asking yourself where it was that you first gained the notion of God.
Presumably this was from human interaction or from some religious text. If this is the case you probably want to ask yourself whether or not you believe everything that you are told.
Take the Christian Bible for instance, historically innacurate, riddled with inconsistencies and contradictions but for Christians the sole introduction and justification of God.
If God created the world 6000 years ago as the Bible suggests then how do you explain fossils of humans dating back 160000 years?
In all religions God has two fundamental characteristics - God is omnipotent and God is benign.
The question then is this - how do you explain the undeniable presence of evil in the world?
If God is omnipotent he must have created evil - but then he would not be benign.
If God is benign then surely he would destroy evil since he is omnipotent.
Why then does evil continue to exist?.....unless of course God does not.

People will tell you to "look around yourself" and say that is evidence of god's existence. I see it as evidence that god doesn't exist. I look around all the time, I don't see god anywhere. You will never know or not if god exists. People will tell you what they think but, it's really up to you to decide.
What was stated in a previous answer is wrong, Einstein did NOT believe in a personal god.
"To Einstein the word God meant the cosmos as revealed, in part, by science. He felt that society's traditional gods were too primitive for him in light of the standard models of cosmology and particle physics."
Not that it matters, what Einsteins beliefs were should have nothing to do with what you believe.

The only way to truly know is to invite Him into your heart and life and see what happens, whether you end up believing He exists or not. (You will ) He says "Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the heathen. I will be exalted in the earth" Psalms 46:10
Having said that, I must tell you that unless you find out that way, you CANNOT KNOW that God exists. One of the things about God is that He doesn't force people to believe in Him or on Him. If He proved his existance beyond any doubt, then you would be forced to believe He exists. That's not in His plan. In His plan, belief is ALWAYS the person's choice. He wants His believers to have faith. It's part of love.
"Without faith, it is impossible to please Him. For he that cometh to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11:6

Fear to the unknown leads to the creation of gods and designers, the answer is no, there is no god
when our ancestors watch the sun they believe it was god, now we know it is just a star.
I just accept that I do not know everything, and I am happy with it.
Why people try to force an explanation for everything?, we did not know how, when, what, etc, why are you afraid of that?, maybe science is going to discover everything some day, maybe not, it does not matter, but the point is "people is afraid and create gods, designers, angels, etc".
You can stop looking for a fantasy and start living your live, enjoy, be happy, do not be afraid to the unknown.

God has given us a brain so we can reason out his existance.
Hebrews 3:4 gives us a reasoning:
"Of course, every house is constructed by someone, but he that constructed all things is God."
Take a serious look at Creation:
The Universe, the planet, the human body.
Note the intricate and balanced design.
This came to be by chance???
Think not.
Romans 1:20 is another place that tells us there can be but 1 decent conclusion.

Forget all these rediculour prosaic comments from religious people about sunsets and rainbows. The simple truth is that there is absolutely no way of telling - thats why you require faith - in other words you need to believe in something that cannot be verified in any way.
Better to just believe in yourself, take responsibility for your own actions, make up your own mind and read an encyclopedia not the bible - you will benefit a whole lot more.....

Faith means taking a chance; it is impossible to know since it as to be
a step of faith. Some of the greatest people in the world have been
believers; some of the greatest people in the world have been atheists.
Some of the greatest idiots in the world have been believers, some of the
greatest idiots in the world have been atheists. You can talk about God
forever but never catch him. You can only sense him just around the
corner, or not.

God dose exist and He wants you to find Him. I have a feeling that no one has ever tried to wittiness to you so I'm gonna. The Lord loves you and He will always be right there with you if you have Him in your spiritual heart. He died on the cross to take away the sins of the world. He is perfect and we are not. He never has committed a sin and He never will. He was nailed to the Cross for our inequities and we are forgiven because of it. He gave His life for us and He raised from the dead on the third day. that is what the real reason that we celebrate Easter. He loves every single person in the world no matter what terrible sins that they have committed. If you want to know more about God then you should read a Bible. try a New Living Translation if you go to a Christian church they can help you find a Bible and they will welcome you that i can almost guarantee. If you want God in your life then all you have to do is pray: Dear Lord, please come into my life and make me clean. please forgive me of all of my sins and take my life and help me to live for You. I love you and make me yours. Amen.

Keep an open heart. God looks at the desires of the heart. If your truly seeking after Him He'll reveal Himself to you. Remember that God is spirit and you must seek Him in spirit and truth. Chances are that He's not going to appear to you in something like a burning bush or you won't hear an audible voice.Ask Him to reveal himself to you, He loves you and will not let you down. He can be found in the heart not the mind.
