I really like the Venus razor, it is extremely rare that i cut my legs while using one of these, even my knees! The head of the razor moves to conform to the curves of your body.

As for shaving the bikini area, if its just the bikini area, once again, venus has been great. If your looking to remove more hair than that, I'd say, dont use a razor at all. I use veet, it takes six minutes and its got great results, better than Nair in my opinion. Good luck!

for my legs i like to use the MEN's schick quattro, it seems to give the best shave with the least nicks. For the bikini area, i would use a razor that is specific for there to decrease the chance of bumps and ingrown hairs. Also you can check into creams and waxes which work better and dont need to be "touched" up as often

I use a Venus (any razor with 4 blades is good), it cuts down on razor burn and the hair doesn't seem to grow back as fast as it did with a 2 or 3 blade razor.

Try to find one that has a swiveling head that will move with the contours and also triple blades. Definitely use one that is for ladies! They are designed for women's shaving and you'll have better results. The Venus razors are great.
