We need Nation Health it is true -many die everyday in hospitals (ask any) because they could not afford their medicine. And many programs cater to foreigners (they have no family here-or the trails they face in new country). It is not fair.

It's fair to those who profit off of it.
I mean, how else is the President of Anthem, an HMO, going to earn 2 Million a year plus a 12 Million dollar bonus and have everything else paid for him, including his home and 750 BMW and corporate jet, and condos on the beach! How many HMO's are there?
There are at least 4 people at Anthem that make more than a million a year and perks. They answer to their shareholders, who are greedy and are getting a tax cut for not working. Know how they make money. They deny benefits!
Doesn't that sound fair to you? It does to the rich! Why do they think they don't want reform and why do you think we won't get reform?
The only reform going around America these day's is taking more from your check to pay those lunatic salaries of HMO's! I don't understand what is so difficilt to grasp?
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.
People die everyday by the 100's for lack of medical care. That is in the US!
Have any Idea what an MRI costs? You think an ER is going to do one on an indigent?

While it is true that no one can be denied medical care from an emergency room, those who are here legally and do not work for cash can have their wages garnished and homes taken away to help pay for medical care they receive, while an illegal "immigrant" or other foreigner can walk away without paying a dime because their are no assets on paper that can be traced to the person who got medical treatment, but had no form of ID due to questionable immigration status.
Oh, I forgot to answer your question: No, I don't think it's fair.

The alternative would be to have the Federal U.S.government in charge of your health care...possibly except for the military and the post office, I am not sure that is the organization I want to be running things.
People who have little or no income should have no problem accessing healthcare with various programs - Federal, State, and local.
The working poor (100%-200% federal poverty line) are the one's hardest hit...often they do not have jobs that come with health care and they don't qualify for programs. Most cities, counties, etc have community health centers or other low income facilities, some town even have volunteer clinics - see links for examples (http://www.vim-jax.org/ , http://www.vim-clinic.org/about/default.htm ).
In sum this is a complaint often voiced, but working in health care (including in volunteer clinics) I do not see people going without treatment, regardless of their insurance or financial status...almost every physician I know has their own (private) version of charity for patients that can not afford their services.
A final note. When addressing the public spell out your words. Abbreviations are fine for texting your friends, but it implies that you are uneducated and unsubstantial - sort of like having poor grammar and misspelling words, etc.
Good luck.

Well, what about the working American born citizens left to die because they cannot afford health care? No, it is not fair. The USA is the only country in the world that takes better care of non-citizens than it does its own citizens, and then the other countries hate us anyway.

Of course it's not fair, that is why middle class America is so angry. I work, can't afford insurance, If I get sick, I'm screwed. Medicare will not help me, because I make too much money. I am an older woman, if I pay for my own insurance, it will cost me 658.00 a month. Since my income is around 2000.00 a month, rent is 1500.00, how am I supposed to to that?

FYI, they can only get treatment if it is life threatening like if they r literally going to die. otherwise, cancer or transplants r not covered or given free to illegal immigrants, neither is the treatment like dialysis, etc. and no i don't think its fair that Any American cannot get medical coverage or treatment when other industrial & 3rd world countries give these services for free to all. America is so messed, but no one cares enough to open that can of worms!!!!

confident they might desire to. yet they do no longer seem to be "human beings of religion". As they declare to be. they're human beings of worry. they might desire to no longer insure their church homes and mosques the two. yet they do. back a instruct of no faith.
