I think Midget is an excellent name for a cat. As long as you are happy with it, that's all that matters.

No, because it is demeaning. What if your cat ran away and you were outside calling, "Midget! Midget!" You might get your butt kicked. And HARD.

Th e name is great.. You know that you can name a pet anything that PLEASES YOU.... It is YOUR decision and I think that the name of MIDGET is a great name

It's a name you definitely wouldn't give a human so nobody would be confused when you call him! I think it's cute. You can nickname the cat Midge.
