Jesus and his cousin John along with Lazarus and older man traveled for many years.
Jesus was a very rich young man. Remember the gifts of the Magi.
The travels of Jesus, John and Lazarus...a couple of boys with an older man.
What did he do? He not only sampled the varied forms of spirituality...he mastered them!
I could elaborate on this for hours; but, I choose to leave this up to you.

His journeys aren't chronicled in the Christian text. God always had things written for a purpose. One of things Jesus did when he was younger, was when he left his family to preach in the synagogue about his heavenly father. Other than that, it remains quiet. It maybe for a reason, as to take emphasis off his childhood and put the focus on his ministry. For example, many believe that they should baptize their babies, but this isn't in lieu with what Jesus did. Jesus was baptized when he was of an age of accountability or understanding. He knew why he was getting baptized and in contrast, a baby doesn't know why.

The only thing that we know that Jesus did during that time was that "He grew in favor and stature with God and man." In other words, He was a man that people really enjoyed being around and liked.
There is no authenticated record that He went on any journey to anywhere.

I have never read anything that says Jesus made a journey during this time. He spent his youth preparing and dealing with the sacrifice he was going to make and the journey to come.

I think he was 30 when he was 'called to duty'. So until then he had a regular life. There was mention about him questioning the temple elders when he was young, so he likely spent time growing up in a spiritually enriched environment

When Jesus was 12 years of age, he and his mother Mary and stepfather Joseph traveled to Jerusalem to celebrate the annual Feast of the Passover. When the feast had ended, Mary and Joseph became separated from Jesus and they searched for him. Jesus had gone to the Lord's Temple and conversed with the people there. The people were amazed by his depth of understanding and by his knowledge. When Mary found Jesus at the Temple, Jesus said to her: "Why were you searching for me?" he asked. "Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house?" (Luke 2:49).

Who says he made a journey? All the evidence I've ever read would indicate that he was at home, learning the carpenter's trade.

I talked to him last week and he said he was on a really bad acid trip and wandered the desert looking for his toes that ran away with his nose. After that, he wandered around trying to pick up women and sew his wild oats.
