Sister, you have obviously shown that a fear of you husband is greater than your fear of God. Secondly, since you have done this, you have tried to fill a infinate hole with only a mortal marriage by forksaking Jesus. I don't mean to be harsh but that's what it is. Christ said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man come unto the Father but by Me!". Islam teaches Christ to be a prophet, not the only Son of The Almighty. Sister, just evaluate your situation with prayer and run to Jesus.

If a Christian woman converts to Islam due to marriage this can not be considered as betrayal of God since the base of any religion is Humanity and it is we humans who tamper the religion. Religion is only a guiding path for our lives.

Um, I am still confused about this God thing...
Um, I am told there is only one (which is what I believe). And that must mean the same God, because there is only one is God of the Christians, Jews, Moslums, and Buddists for that matter.
So, Why would God think a Christian converting to Islam is a betrayal? Or the other way around for that matter.
I am pretty damned (excuse the phrase), sure Christians and Moslums beleive in the same God. They disagree about the status of the prophets. Big freaking whoop. View God any way you want. Just don't try to impose your view on me.

If you ASSUME that Christians are correct, then Yes. If consider that Muslims are correct, then No.
Almost all people believe in their particular religion only because that is how they were raised, not because it is the Truth. Most follow their religion because they were taught to do so by their parents, relatives, local society, heritage, lineage or it is the national religion. This is true everywhere and with EVERY religion and every group of people. Thus, one can not declare that their religion is correct based on the above reasons. Your religion is not correct because you have a dream, intuition, a feeling in your heart or soul. Believe it or not, most people in most religions say the exactly the same thing as you do and they believe it just as you do!
Thus, if you believe for the above reasons you are not sincere, truthful or knowledgeable with respect to this issue of religion. You are a Blind Follower merely shouting the words of your forefathers be they correct or incorrect.
Maybe its just a higher order of people that are able to break the chains of the ignorant blind following peoples of the world.

It sure does...in the Christian faith if you know about Christianity and choose another religion you are dammed. Good thing this hypothetical question would never really happen...I mean what woman especially would convert to islam? She's either have to be brainwashed by someone or real ugly.

If this woman converts from Christianity to Islam she never knew God, because no one with a true relationship with Christ would convert and try and leave him.!

It is betrayal of self and God and the husband. If it not what she truly believes, she is lying to everyone. She is hurting herself the most.

The bible teaches that there is one church. If the woman is not a true christian according to the bible standards then it does not matter what she proclaims her faith to be. If one believes in Christ and His teaching, then they will follow Him. If you are not following the teaching of Christ it is a sin. Jesus said beginning in John 8:21 that if you die in your sin where he is you cannot come. This is bible and I think that this woman, if she is a true christian according to bible teaching should consider what is more important.
