For the Jerk comment. Yes, I made a big mistake and drove my motorcycle drunk and hurt myself, and I pray and thank God that I lived and hurt no one, and learned my lesson as well. But, NO NEED TO BE RUDE ABOUT IT, BUDDY!!

traffic tickets are criminal charges, they show up also on a full criminal background check.

If they are just checking traffic tickets, it also shows up.

In most jurisdictions, driving under the influence is a CRIMINAL offense, not a traffic act offense. You get convicted, you are a criminal, not just a bad driver.
