I Agree With You 100% Because, "Jesus Is The Way , The Truth, And The Life, No Man Cometh To The Father (Heaven) Except Through Jesus"!..(John 14:6).......And To Answer Your Question As To Why People Make A Big Deal About Today's Date If they Are Atheist?......Because, They Want To Bring GOD Down To Their Level & Terms, They Would Rather Believe In Confused Man-Made Theories, Opinions, And Phylosophys That Makes Sense To Their Natural Little Carnal Minds Rather Than Get "Spiritually Educated" In The Lord!........As I've Said Many Times Before, Theories, Opinions, And Phylosophies Are Like Peoples "Rear Ends"...Everybodys Got One!!!!.....Keep Strong!........Blessings Bunches!

I think it is just as exciting as 01.01.01 was, and 02.02.02 was, and 03.03.03, and 04.04.04 and 05.05.05... next year I will hold a party at 07.07.07.
It is a big deal because the twelfth of December in 2012 is the last day this triple number will occur until we reach 01.01.3001. and if the human race keep up doing things the same way as we do today, that day will never come.

Okay , I guess I will give it a try and be Christian- I will listen to the Lord and he says that to not listen to those who stand on street corners boasting about their faith.
He who humbles himself in front of the Lord will be rewarded- be humble in your faith for he hears the ones who rejoice in his name in silence more louder than the idiots shouting " Jesus is my Lord and Savior" to the world.

Cause the "truth" is re-written, re-translated, politically motivated MESS, and I'd rather be Agnostic than a sheep.
The date/number is meaningless to people like us.

The mindless are easily scared. Remember the hype about the new melenium? I had friends that refused to leave the house that day.
After that they were afraid to leave the house for fear someone would see them for their stupidity.
