Foreign or domestic?
You can go top end cars in either catagorie. Toyota, Nissan, Lexus Infinity, all V6's push over 270HP
Domestics?? Look at your performance vehicles and start checking for your preference in price to power. This will hold true for any vehicle foreign or domestic.

BMW 330i is the best value in the market. You can get a 330 for under 36k, or you can get the 325 for under 30k.
