I read it daily. i take a few chapters a day. It is best to read the Bible first thing in the morning. That way your mind is more open to understand, and not cluttered with things that happened during the day.

I read it every morning. I have a study guide. But when I don't use a pre-made study guide, I just ask God what He would like me to know today and turn to whatever I turn to and read it. There is always a nugget of some kind I can use.
I also memorize passages and chapters from it. It is a fact that a person who wants to increase their gpa or their intelligence should read the Bible. (You can laugh, but that won't matter, really). I guess to change a grade, you'd have to do it for at least a quarter.
Even if one is not religious, the Bible, especially the book of Proverbs, is a wonderful Guide to Life and how to live it.
Thanks for asking.
God bless!

I read it several times throughout the day - I do not follow a daily devotional guide as this restricts what I believe the Holy Spirit leads me to. I usually sit down and ask God to reveal to me what is needed before I go on-line to YA - and this is usually the only category I answer in - or if I'm fixing to write a letter or something I sit down with my Bible and ask God to give me the words of encouragement that the one I'm writing might need. Sometimes, when I've just had an epileptic episode, which can happen up to 5 times a day, I read the Psalms or ask my husband or son to read them to me as they are comforting and the seizures leave me panic stricken as they are blank spots in my mind. A lot of times I have to ribbons marking scriptures in my Bible - one in the Psalms or Proverbs and one in the New Testament. Occasionally if I can stay away, medication is very sleep inducing, I'll read a whole book of the Old Testament for the historical lessons and values that God has intended them for.

I read the King James Bible at least twice a day. I read Proverbs to start my day and Psalms to end my day and, some where between them I read from the New Testament. Sounds fun right? Always pray when reading the Bible and allow God the chance to talk back to you. Don't do all the talking....

Well, we read our Bible on a daily basis as a congregation, thereby finishing the Bible in it's entirety in 2 years. I also read when I have a personal Bible study, which I usually do on a particular subject such as Loving- kindness, or patience or some subject that concerns or interests me. Then we attend 5 meetings a week to study together as a congregation: two meetings on Sunday, two on Tuesday and one on Thursday. I prepare for Sunday's meetings with my daughter, and we read the scriptures cited in our Bible study guide. So, every day, for one reason or another!!

I can't read it. I used it to light my campfire and to roll up some "tobacco". What little is left is in my bathroom to be used as toilet paper. I figure if the bible is gonna be full of crap, why not add a little more. It really gets everything out. Especially when I stay up all night drinking "jesus' blood" until I puke then munching on a bag of his body. My god, those things are pretty good with some salsa.

I read, study it daily to find myself approved.
Why feed my body and let my spirit starve. we do not live on food alone but by every word spoken by God.
With out studying how are we expected to stand?
No soldier ever goes into battle without knowing his weapon inside and out, without being able to dismantle in literally blindfolded (we did this).
Yet we try to use the sword of the Spirit, Gods word never reading or understanding it, we cannot. That's why a lot of Christians lead a defeated life. Not knowing what to do when the trials Christ promised would come arrive. So Build my house on the solid Rock of Ages so when the storm rages my house will stand...... Messenger
