Well English is the language of America and there is the same with a slight difference in England. Every country has its own first language, why should english be the speaking language of France or Germany, second maybe but not first.. That would be horribly arrogant of this country.....

Spanish is quickly becoming the second world language. It's spoken in more countries than any other language. In business however it is currently Japanese but will soon be Chinese due to their growing presence in the business world, large population and bountiful natural resources.

I think that it's a tie between Spanish, Chinese or Arabic that should be the second worldwide language.

i will say that i agree with nikki however it seems that spanish is a widely used language. However if you live in a country that has a native language it should take the place of english

There are lots of African dialects- that would be cool, but hard to learn. I think that people should learn Mandarin or another Asiatic language because that is where there is the greatest population on earth.

im not just siding with my language but..... Serbian
cause its easiest to learn and the speeling is a breeze if you know english....
