I wouldn't say "hate" but these are the reasons why I left and would not like to return.

High Cost of living (housing, transport, food etc)
High Taxes
Low Esteem of the workforce
Low expectations due to the above
Government that doesn't know what it is doing
North/South divide
Long working hours, low pay
Bad Weather
Nobody smiles
General State of the ecomony
Declining Healthcare and Education Systems
Lack of care for the elderly
Teenage problems (knife and gun culture)

and so many other reasons that I could list.....I couldn't go back but that is just a personal opinion:)

If you travel to different countries you very quickly realise that all these other places are not "cheap" to visit, the UK is just very expensive to live in. You are paying out a lot and getting very little in return. As I say, just a personal thing:)

I am not too keen on the Government but I think a lot of people think that way at the moment. Also wish the public transport was up to the same standards of other countries.

Get annoyed by the Anti-British brigade though. Why come over here to live and then do nothing but moan about Britain and its people?

Epidavros, nice to see you're living in the 21st Century...most other people have moved on, why can't you?

The country it's self.... no.
The ones to hate are the people cocking the place up with inappropriate building developments in the wrong places........ political correctness..... taxes going through the roof..... kids let completely out of control....... fuel having nearly 80% tax on it (fuel duty, then V.A.T on top of that)...... public transport that arrives either 10minutes early or 10minutes late (or not at all)....... American Animal rights groups such as P.E.T.A trying to brainwash us with the same crap their starting to fail at doing so in the States....... Diet Scolds / Food NAZI's starting to gain the upperhand........ and people (usually Ex. Miners) complaining how terrible the conservative party & Margaret Thatcher, completely oblivious to the fact it was the Conservative Party who got the country on it's feet again after the complete and utter balls-up left behind by Harold Wilson's Labour government (which allegedly had links with the Russian KGB) as big as the mess (or bigger than) Tony Blair's Labour government is causing at the moment..... the Sea fishing fleet virtually on it's knees thanks to the French & Spanish fleets allowed to rape our fishing waters of anything larger than a stickleback using illegals nets..... while the freshwater fishing isn't doing too great either from lack of action about Cormorants eating all the freshwater fish because of the French & Spanish trawlers plundering our seas.
And then there is the Banks.......... £28 for going overdrawn, then they screw you with another £28 fine once they've put you overdrawn with their previous fine, then they basically tell you to go f*** yourself when you complain about it.

There is no reason for anyone to hate Britain and anybody who does has serious issues. If someone hates the way the government works however, then that is perfectly understandable.

I don't hate Britain, and I LOVE England, it's my home, why would I hate it? The main problem I have with Britain (England mostly) is that the government are happy to give handouts to illegal immigrants and they don't try very hard to help the British.

Well, the British undertook militaristic control of 1/3 of the world, headed the largest empire the world has seen (and as empires are repressive this cannot be good), invented the concentration camp, led the slave trade, committed some of the world's only successful acts of genocide (against the tasmanian aborginee for one), displaced and disposessed the native people's ot two continents,...

shall i go on?

I'm upset because England has stopped churning out those great rock bands: The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Animals, Led Zeppelin, Roxy Music,The Clash, The Smiths.... I could go on, but you get the picture!
