My boyfriend and I decided to slow down in our relationship. We met a week ago and was moving too fast. Well we already planned on going with his family to the lake with his daughter and mine. I think I will still go but my question is.... the 3rd weekend in June he asked me (before we made the decision to slow down) to go to his family reunion in Bandera Texas. We would leave on Thursday and return on Sunday. I am not sure about that weekend since we did decide to slow down. Should I wait to see how this weekend goes? Please help. I am recently new at dating again since my divorce. Thanks!

Slow down a LOT. You just got out of one relationship. Dont be ready to jump into another so quickly. Put stronger energy/attention into your children. They may really need it at this time in their tender lives. And it can be very soothing for yourself as well.

i'd slow down. especially if there are children involved. what if it turns out to be a mistake? it'll be equally as hard for the kids as for the adults.

maybe u should talk with him and find out if he thinks it is still a good idea if not then dont go
