what u wrote clarifies that u don't know anything about any religion.
Any way.... I'm Muslim & I'm PROUD of my religion & The Holy QURAN which is revealed by Allah to His prophet Muhammed PBUH.
"Alif Laam Raa. A book which we have revealed to you (Muhammad) so that you may lead the people from out of the darknesses into the light by their Lord's leave to the path of the All-Mighty, the Praiseworthy." [Qur'an 14:1]
So.....
Don't say writers.........our holy book QURAN is revealed by Allah.
it's the words of Allah.
let's talk logically...
1st...
Prophet Muhammed lived his life in the Arab land & never read about Hinduism, judaism, zorastrianism ..... simply coz he was illiterate.(PBUH)
Notice that Allah has chosen him PBUH to be the last prophet and to TEACH us how to live in peace & worship ALLAH , the Creator of the whole universe.
2nd.....
Do u consider it logical for a religion -supposed to be a religion calling for Tawheed ( worshipping only one God)- to borrow from other believes & thoughts that associate others with God in His Divinity ?!!
3rd...
there is nothing called islamic or non-islamic version of paradise.... All religions that came from God has the same paradise.
4th....
the five prayers of Muslim were not 5.....actually they were 50
in the night of Israa & Miraj......
the Prophet (PBUH) began his ascent through the seven heavens, where he saw the other prophets till he reached Sadrat Al-Muntaha, the remotest lote tree, symbolizing the end of worldly knowledge. He was then taken before the Divine Presence. Allah enjoined the Muslims to perform salah (ritual Prayers) 50 times a day. After his audience with Allah and on his way down, Muhammad (PBUH) met Musa (Moses PBUH), who asked him how many Prayers were laid upon his followers. When the Prophet (PBUH) replied 50, Musa (PBUH) told him that the congregational Prayer is heavy and your people are weak. He advised him to go back and ask Allah to reduce them. Muhammad (PBUH) made several trips back and forth, and each time The Merciful reduced the number, till finally He reduced it to 5 Prayers a day and if they are performed properly the worshipper will be given credit for 50.
Is this present in zorastrianism???
Waiting for ur replies.....waiting for more examples to discuss.
Those who remember Allah, standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth: "O Lord, You have not created this for nothing. Glory be to You! So safeguard us from the punishment of the Fire."
(Surat Al 'Imran: 191)
These will help u....
study them .....

Dr. Maurice Bucaille, after a thorough research proved that although Ramses II was known to have persecuted the Israelites in the Bible, he died whilst Moses (pbuh) was taking refuge in Midian.
Ramses II’s son Merneptah succeeded him as Pharaoh. It was Merneptah who drowned during the exodus. In 1898 the mummified body of Merneptah was found in the valley of Kings, in Egypt.
In 1975, Dr. Maurice Bucaille with other doctors received permission to examine the mummy of Merneptah, the findings of which proved that Merneptah probably died from drowning or a violent shock which immediately preceded the moment of drowning.
Thus the Qur’anic verse, that “we shall save his body as a sign”, has been fulfilled by the pharaoh’s body being kept at the Royal Mummies’ room in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
This verse of the Qur’an compelled Dr. Maurice Bucaille, who was a Christian to study the Qur’an. He later wrote a book “The Bible, The Qur’an & Science” and confessed that the author of the Qur’an can be no one else besides God, the Creator and Originator of all Creation, and thus embraced Islam.
All this evidence is sufficient to conclude that the Qur’an was not copied from the Bible. On the contrary the Qur’an is the ‘Furqaan’ i.e. the Criterion to judge right from wrong and truth from error and falsehood. It is the Qur’an that should be used to determine which passage of the Bible may be considered to be the word of God.

THE ANSWER IS SO SIMPLE , Muhammad lived in the desert of Saudi Arabia , never left it unless with trading tribes to trade , infront of all , to syria and palastine , how could he took it from hinduism since he never met indians before , he even can't write or read , just a simple pedeoian in a simple town in the desert ??
isalm is full of many things that one man however educated he is , can't borrow and make up such a religion , so what about such a man ????
Muhammad became prophet at the age of 40 , and till then he never poem , never , and he wasn't good in studying poems , in that time arabs was a nation of poemers , some of them make a great poem on every thing happened to him (loves a girl - went for hunting - went to war - won at war - dislike someone - like someone and so on ) some of them made the single poem of 1000 part , and study them all , Muhammad was one of the worst in that , he never show any interest in poeming ... then suddenly at age of forty he blased in poems (quran) and when they try to stand against him they found out it was wasn't poems , it was speaches greater than anything they every experienced , and for years untill they all believed at last , they tried hard to win over him , .. simply , they couldn't . they brought the most famous poemers from all the arabic triebs and far away towns , they also couldn't ... they couldn't even bring one part even close to what he was saying ... Koran was amazing, and in their own language and in the best thing they can do in life .... and it's told by a man lives with them for 40 years with anything , and he even can't write or read
you know, that is the main reason i believe in Islam with no any doubt , how could a man in that barberic atmosphere, and he was no thinker or intellectual , no philosopher , even illeteral , how could he suddenly brought that big religion with all it's detailed rules to become the biggest religion in the world with a specefic rules , all from him , ( i mean christianity for example begained only with jesus , the continiued by Bolous ,, then by many things to reach it's present state ) and it's all in an invincible amazing poems , a masterpiece book , and includes many stories of the past religions , and detailed rules about everthing ... i mean even the greatest minds in the world made a schools , not a complete religion , Martin Luther made a big school IN christianity , Marks made a big economic school ( communism ) and although he was a very big intellectual , it felt down in 70 years , Darwin put a great theory in evolution , but Muhammad ; a very humble illateral ,man , uneducated , in a very poor and law place , uncivilized , how can he make up the ultimate religion , a complete religion from A to Z , and not just an idea , or toughts ... no , it's a complete framework with how to pray in details , how to Pilgrimage , how exactly giving alms and how money distrebuted and to whom , how to fast , when and where you fight , how to disterbute the money of a dead man , and what exactly are the shares of each of his familly , marriage , divorce ..etc , and that of course beside the spiretuos things , also discriping hell , and heaven , satan and the angels , every thing .. a complete religion came from one man live among barberic people pray to stones with no ethics .
how? how that happened ? think about an uneducated man live humple and open the door to you , could you emagine he bring out a complete religion ? and all that in a miracleous words that even shakespear if he is alife can't compete with him
that's why i belive quran is not authentic

It wouldn't suprise me if it took texts from other books...I've asked questions before about islam and people have said that alot of the quran is taken from the Bible. I think it's just a bunch of texts put together and called a religion. How can they prove their religion is the true one if nothing in it is original? I don't see how they could do that which is why I don't believe in islam.

actually that proves more that the Quran is from God. because Muhammad cannot read or write , so there was no way for Muhammad to come up with all this religion from his own. He was supported by God indeed.
Muhammad isn't a super man, and even if he was a super man he wouldn't be able to do it.

Aussie Girl you rock!! Lets call spade a spade...aye!!!
Quran tells Muslims to kill the disbelievers wherever they find them (2:191), murder them and treat them harshly (9:123), slay them (9:5), fight with them (8:65 ), strive against them with great endeavor (25:52), be stern with them because they belong to hell (66:9) and strike off their heads; then after making a “wide slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives” for ransom (47:4).

One could venture the idea that no holy book is "authentic".
The Bible has suffered at the hands of interpretation for many years.
The Book of Mormon is also one that has borrowed from other religions.
It is the faith that it embraces that is important.
