can anyone please describe briefly how 2 use subtitles on a movie if the subtitle is a winzip file

Unzip the file and then turn subtitles option ON.

Install winrar, then unzip that zipped folder. After unzipping, I'm not really sure what kind of file will pop up, but just in case, usually, there is this program called Vobsub, that can use the sub file and the movie file together to add the subs in the movie. You can download it here: http://www.vobsub.com. I'm not sure if that will solve your problem, but it might.

make sure you have a player that can view subtitles. a great one is BS player pro.
