We dated for awhile but he is overseas and now has a girlfriend in the Philippines. We still talk everyday and most of the time he is complaining about the way she treats him. He says that he loves me but its friendship love. Could he ever change his mind, since we have always had great times, don't argue and he has told me that I am everything that he has been looking for? I'm confused!!

I'm in the same situation and I found that if I continue to be his friend without looking for the relationship but letting him know I'm interested in more then nature will take it's course. Try not to sit around and wait for him, the problems he has with her could pan out then you'll still be alone so date, hangout, and find another guy. do whatever you can to make him think that you have options.

It depends. Once i dated one of my best friends(male). We had known each other for two years. Then all of that funny stuff that he did became imature. He didn't even treat me like his GF, it is something that i will never do again. no matter what.
