Yes, Jesus did die for the sins of the world. However, he died for me personally the moment I placed my faith in His atonement. Jesus' death & resurrection was a universal act of love, but it was also a personal act of love for each individual.
Another thing Jesus did was give me His words of wisdom and life. From the "sermon on the mount" to the parables -- they touch my life and bring guidance/meaning. He gave me a simple guide or rule by which to live: to love God with all my heart, and to love my neighbor as myself.
He showed me that death is not the end. He demonstrated that He has power and authority over death. His example shows me that there is more to life than this brief time we spend on earth...

Jesus died for all people who sin. This includes you, me, and everyone else. So, it is entirely proper for one to say "Jesus died for me." It is entirely proper to say, "Jesus died for you." It is entirely proper to say, "Jesus died for our sins." All three of those quotes are the Truth.
So why deny it? You might have a personal preference towards one of those quotes, that's fine. But you are wrong to claim that one of those quotes is better than the other.
They all mean the same thing. Whether one chooses to examine Jesus's actions macro or micro, all three of those quotes in the previous paragraph are indeed true.
Think about it. Jesus DID NOT have to create you. You are here because He wanted you to be here. Therfore, it's reasonable to assume Jesus wants you, you in particular, to spend eternity with Him. He feels the same way about me, about everyone.
Want proof? If Jesus did not feel that way about you, you wouldn't have ever been born.
Jesus did not have to create the human race, let alone any particular person within that race. Yet, here we are, each one of us, in all our uniqueness. Jesus thinks so much of each on of us, in particular, that He designed us all to be unique. Never before has there been any two people like you and me. Never will there ever be after we're gone. The same goes for everyone.
What's more, Jesus did not have to reconcile mankind to God. This was not manditory. But God sent His only Son Jesus down here to redeem you, redeem me, redeem all of us.
So, if you think Jesus is not interested in doing anything for any one person in particular, rejoice and be glad in your mistake.
Jesus did indeed die on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins, among others. Do the right thing and give the Son of God the credit due to Him.

Set me and my family back thousands of years.
I'm Italian,
Christians single hand-idly destroyed the great human advanced culture known as the Roman empire.
Then just when Christianity was on it's last leg, The angry mis-guided German, Martin Luther, strolled in and resuscitated it again.
Will this mind cancer ever die?

He laid down his life so that I can be forgiven for my sins. He did it for everyone YES but had he not done it I couldn't be forgiven any more then anyone else. Also short of being a Jew I would have no chance of being one of God's people prior to his life.

My relationship with Jesus is personal. I know that when he was on the cross, I was apart of His plan. When He was beaten with all those stripes, at least one of those stripes was for my healing. I was sick and the doctors said there was nothing that they could do. All my family had was prayer and He healed me. He loves ME. You can't get anymore personal than that.

Where to start....He lifted me out of the worst pit of dispare when I was absolutely broken, and whated to die. He filled me with His Love, Joy, and Hope. He healed my son, and daughter of illness. He provided for me, when I had absolutely nothing.... I couldn't even buy food, and he supplied in absolute abundance. He is my Lord and Savior.....
