Iv tried so many things. And yes, I know, many of you are going to say "Why dont you just go see a dermatoligist?" but regretfully, this is not an option. So...other than that, what procucts do you most recommend for clearing up acne and blackheads?

One product alone won't clear up your acne. You have to buy several little things to see progress. For overall acne treatment, I'd look into something called Proactiv.

Try using OTC Vanishing Creams.
They absorb excess oil and are clinically proven to help prevent breakouts.
Simply spread a thin layer all over your face, especially in those areas where pimples always seem to be lurking.
Start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed.
Other acne prevention options are acne pads and sticks.
Both have invisible medication that penetrates pores to help keep them clear.

Over-the-counter Treatments (OTC)
(Stuff you can buy without a prescription)

The active ingredient to look for in the acne products that you see in the drug store or supermarket drug store is benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. These have an antibacterial effect. Benzoic peroxide comes in 5% and 10%. Start with the lower number to avoid "burning" your skin. You may have to experiment with acne treatments before you find the right OTC products for you. You are using this product to reduce the bacteria on the skin and to exfoliate. Exfoliation works by applying the lotion or wash to dry up the skin and help the dead cells and debris come off. The "Acne Defense" cleansers that you can buy in the market or drugstore help prevent breakouts and keep acne under control.

I hope this helps!

I saw on a home shopping network...Proactive seems to work...they even interviewed Jessica Simpson, P. Diddy and Alicia Keys who are all users of the product.

Proactiv is the best but you have to keep putting it on. If you stop you will go back to what you were before. But with whatever product you use you have to be consistent. No skipping. Make it a ritual.
