ok im indian....so we eat a lot of oily foods..which makes my fingernails yellow...how do i fix that??

its just that like last night i finshed eating dinner and washed my hands then two of my fingernails were yellow...i dont worry about it cause it always just goes away but know i was just wondering...

I am not so sure that it is the oily foods that you eat that cause you to have yellow nails as much as you may have a problem in the area of diabetes or a possible liver disorder. It is also known that yellow of the nails can come from a lymphatic disorder or a respiratory disorder. You may want to get a check up.....Of course you diet can be the cause of any of these things...so possibly change your diet. What type of Indian are you? North American or from India or another area of the world?

I think it might be the spices like curry and the like that causes the yellowness, more than the oil. Either way, you can go to a good manicurist, or just monitor what you eat.

It's the monosodium glutamate that makes your fingernails yellow. switch to garlic salt, it'll clear up in a year or so

lol well i dk that much bout nail but i would try fingernail polish or go to a like nail and solone thing and ask them.

drink plenty of water and go to the GNC store buy vitamins for you nails.

soak them in bleach helps if you have things to wash in bleach anyway.
