.......my idea of paradise?

I believe that every single person goes to paradise after death, without exception; I can justify this by saying that everyone has some goodness in them, no matter how small the amount (even those portrayed as being 'truly' evil such as Hitler) and that God really is wholly loving, forgiving being who strips away all evil, inequality and hatred after we die.

I believe it doesn't matter what you call God, Jehovah, Yahweh, Allah et cetera, as he/she/it is a being far removed from being named and identified here on earth. I believe that 'he' simplt takes us all in to his arms once we die, and we all become children who play in his garden for the rest of eternity, all equal and loving of one another.

I do not ask you whether or not you believe in this but whether you think it is an inspiring though.

Thanks for your insight and time!

In me, it inspires the desire to argue. Basically what you just proposed is a dangerous concept. I am an atheist, and I believe all good people should go to heaven whether religious or not, should one exist (which in truth, I don;t think it does). However, what you propose has some serious consequences. Were this theology to become mainstream, people could go about killing, robbing, raping, and maiming one another, because essentialyl humans are quite a sick bunch and without any rules and consequences this is what they do. If they never get caught they live a happy (albeit, twisted) existence, and then get rewarded for it in the afterlife. I am therefore more scared by the consequences of acceptance of your belief than inspired by it.

I dont believe in paradise, but i do agree we all go to the same place when we die.
I believe we are all droplets in the ocean of Consciousness. We are all connected in this way (deja vu, coincidences etc)
I believe this body is just a vehicle, the real driving force is our Energy/Chi.
When we die it's only death of the vehicle (physical body), the energy is realised to its true form, which operates on a different frequency to us. Some people can tune into this frequency thats why they see ghosts or spirits.
I think when our energy is realised we will be totally happy, peaceful and contented. Maybe that is a kind of paradise, But we wont know till we meet on the other side... C u there xx

It would be better if people worked to please the Almighty rather than themselves.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

(2 Corinthians 4:4-5) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through. For we are preaching, not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord

I don't want to be a child again either. If i am a child it means it won't be able to get a stiffy. If i can't have a stiffy i don't want to live. I mean, get this. Your in a beautiful garden with all your friends runnng around. You're all having fun. Surely their must be one of the other girls who you would want to enjoy your stiffy with.

My idea of paradise would envolve hundreds of amazonian birds with coconuts shells on their boobs to reserve their modesty. They would look like varying versions of Gisele, Tera Patrick or Nefetiti and they would fight over who's turn it was to pleasure me. And they would be very fiesty women to say the least.
Also they made a shrine for me. And they worshiped it daily.

I mean. If i was to think up a concept of heaven i would think of something more interesting than children running around. In my version of heaven their would be no children. So i can't get any of the women pregnant. So therefore no need for contraception. Which will save a bit of money and the rubber trees on the out skirts of the camp.

Their would be temples and stuff like that. Something that looks like a mixture of Eygptian & Aztec. Apart from fully working hospitals encase one of us hurt our selfs. And a fire department. Everybody needs a fire department.

Also Guns N' Roses (the new line up) would play (Stuff of the new album even though it will never come out before i die) every night.

Yeah. So that is my version. I think it is a bit more interesting than the other guys.

You would be amazed about how many times i have had this dream

At last someone with common sense, i feel the same way, and if people really do believe in their God then they should believe. I know it means sharing with what we would call wicked people, but mankind created these people not God, so why should they be left out., and I think it's a very inspiring thought.

Even the atheist will go even though the lack of faith.

God bless

Love & Peace

I definitely don't find it inspiring-wouldn't something inspiring encourage you to do/be 'better' in some way. If, as you suggest, everyone ends up in the same 'place', and it is good, why try to be good at all? Why not just whatever the hell (literally) you feel like? I agree that this would be scary rather than anything else; it is also likely to lead to less good than otherwise, cos people would be disillusioned at the 'unfairness' of it, and do/become worse than otherwise. I cannot see how this could ever be a good thing.

everyone is born innocent and everyone has good in them. it's life that fuks people up and make them do the things they do. there is always a very good reason behind every wrong doing but nobody cares enough to take the time to find out. but 'god' or whoever it is, knows why people do bad things and he does forgive them all.
people who are extremely evil and do badder than bad are sick in the head, they're i'll, so they too are forgiven. i agree they should be locked away whilst here on earth for the safety of others and themselves. after we die....well i aint got a clue, my ideas change regularly but yours is a very nice thought and i could probably go along with it.

something is right about the name of God, only depends on what your religion wishes to call the most high, but on the passport to heaven, you just have to right and holy before the eyes of our lord Jesus, since he died to save you and so believe in him and he will be the only one to save you and follow his teaching. Bad is bad whether in heaven or on earth. Read the bible more and understand it then you will be on the right track and know how much God can forgive anyone who is ready to change even a second just before death.

That is a nice view, and I don't know what is right but the way I think of it is that Heaven is a metaphor for God's love, and Hell is a metaphor for the absence of God's love.
He loves us all, but because of freewill He won't force it on us if we don't want it. We have to accept God to be with Him (ie go to Heaven) after death.

I don't think it is. It is a nice thought but i don't fancy the idea of spending my time in heaven with convicted paedophiles and rapists. The fires in hell are well and truly blazing for people like this.
