Start with a graphics or photo editing edits software and create a bar with a solid color (e.g. black) background. You may want to place some text on this bar. It will displace the bottom portion of your recorded video and prevent your viewer from seeing the logo (and anything else on the lower portion). But you can use the bar to introduce your subject or highlight key phrases. You might also, but more noticably, create a sqaure of solid background that is large enough to displace the logo.

With a higher end video editing software, such as Adobe Premier you can merge your graphic into the video such that the graphic is on top.

Alternatively, you can instruct the video editing software to simply crop the whole video and enlarge the surviving image to consume the viewing space. Pixilation will occur, so the image will be poorer in quality. And of course, you'll loose more of the image.

Good luck.

That sucks. But what it sucks even more is an original movie I bought. It was the logo of the company on the corner.
