I'm looking a sub-woofer to complete my home cinema setup. I have B&W 600 series speakers and need a small, closed box sub to complete my system. In the UK the major sub brand is REL and not a lot else.

I've got to agree with silentrunning on this one. Go with the sub that is designed for you series speaker. They will be matched to compliment each other.

REL makes, by far, one of the finest sub-woofers - it is a company dedicated to that one product and is really good at it.

I would suggest go with REL - I have been using REL sub-woofers for many years and would highly recommend one.

I have a Boston Acoustics PV600, which I love. You can check that out. It's easy to find inexpensive & good condition subs on eBay too.
