I wouldn't look at the age gap. If you love the person then go for it. My fiance is 4 1/2 years older then me, we love each other very very much and are actually getting married next Saturday. We decided that it didn't matter, and people don't even really know our age gap. Some of them know our ages but they don't ever question it! It's good that you found love! Of course its not too big a gap! Well, it can make a difference if the guy is younger and the girl is older but the "ew" factor typically only comes into play at 18 and younger.

I'm 40 and my wife is 24 been married 5 years.( 3 kid's )
my first wife just turned 29, ( Divorced ) together for 10 years,( 2 kids.)
if you love someone and you want to be with them than age is no more Thain a number 20 is as low as I would go.

5 years isn't too much, especially since you're both adults. Now if you were teenagers, 5 years is an enormous gap. If it feels right, I say go for it. =)

no go ahead date that's no problem my aunt is 56 dating a 28 yr old they don't have a problem & thats a big age gap

Take my advice my parents and my grandparents both have age gaps of 10yrs between the husband and wife, they are all in very successful relationship

I had a revelation today. That as long as u feel its right and its not intentionally hurting anyone else than go for it.
