Dude- you can shop for my birthday anytime! :) Kidding. But wow- just how serious are you about this girl? That's a pretty good chunk of change for a girl you met last week. Heck, I'm married and my b-day gift this year won't even be close to that- unless we have a baby- they're pretty expensive and you can't get them at Wal-Mart, as my mom would say. :) It's really hard to say what she might like, not knowing her and all- I get a new pair of running shoes and my favorite perfume- it makes me happy! Listen to what she talks about all the time & maybe guess from that. If she loves to go shopping, take her shopping and stay with her and let her show off her stuff in the dressing room- tell her she's gorgeous (be honest, of course) and just have fun- because when you're in love, that's what really counts.
And if you're really, really serious? An engagement ring is pretty nice, too. :)

How about a weekend away at a nice hotel. Somewhere that you can drive to. A nice dinner a couple of drinks. Just enjoy eachother, alone together. I always enjoyed getaways more than gifts.
