the point is- it is a RESIDENTIAL neighborhood- not the business district downtown- otherwise i wouldnt say a word- and to those nasty comments that i should get a day job- not everyone works a--NINE to five! another thing is- they work all afternoon- yet they take 2-3 days to weedwack- at 8 am. there is plenty they cld do at that time other than be rude!

Honey! I feel your pain! My 2 noisy, obnoxious, self centered, teenaged early rising step kids came to live with us after 9 years of comforting slow rising bliss so I KNOW. The answer is EAR PLUGS. Not the squeeze and press in kind. The silicone swimmers kind. They are pliable, easy on the ears and block out EVERYTHING! Just let your husband know that if the fire alarm goes off he should wake you.

Check your city noise ordinances and see if they are violating any of them.

Talk to the management of the nursing home about it.

Learn that while you may work nights, or go to school, or for whatever reason not have to get up before 8 a.m., most of the world DOES have to get up and they aren't going to put it on hold for you.

Have you spoken to the management of the nursing home? Thta is alittle rediculous. You should call them so they don't know it's you and tell them to shut up.
