Yes...I agee...I've seen some really silly, pointless, wasteful, eye-sore of signs! Shall we start a campaign against them? Maybe we could post a sign...!?!

Some joking observation about signs I have always liked:
Why are there Braille instructions on drive up ATMs? [I know it is because the template is stamped with Braille for all ATMS and some templates end up on the drive up ones, but it is still funny to think about.]
A new box of Christmas lights with the side reading: For Indoor/Outdoor use only. [Okay as opposed to what other kind of use?]

One of my very first questions was something like this, I stop at stop signs, give way at yield signs, hush in quiet zones, go at green lights. But I don't speed over speed bumps.

my husband wants to put signs in the back yard to keep the neighborhood kids off our kids toys when we aren't home that says "forget the dog beware of owner" and "yard protected by 12 gage shot guns"

lol.. some like reindeer crossing, slow down slippery road, watch for ice..like we can't tell it's winter?:o or eliminate some like detour on left (frogs on loose) LOL... silly signs, yeah and i guess serious elimination needs to be considered ... :)
