For those who found theirs - How could you tell that it's true love?

Question

I thought it was, but well, it turned real bad and I was badly crushed. Am afraid to almost trust what my heart's sayin'. My head's tellin' me one thing sayin' to let it go but the heart's stubborn sayin' otherwise. How can you tell?

My darling chased after me for 3 years and I never gave him a chance. When I finally did, I wondered why I had put him off for so long because he was absolutely incredible. We fell in love almost instantly. Every hour felt like a second and spending time with him was always enough no matter where we were or what we were doing. I simply wanted to be with him. Cuddling up and falling asleep in each other's arms was always the perfect end to a good or bad day because it made everything better, even if nothing was wrong. When I kissed him, I couldn't breathe (it still happens!). He makes me feel like I can conquer the world if I want to and he always encourages me. He shows he loves me by doing small things...smiling goofy smiles, little pecks on the nose/cheek, holding my hand, hugging me, giving out small compliments,and most of all....telling me he loves me every day. Love is amazing, and he proves it. I love being in love and eventhough I've had my fair share of crappy relationships, J has erased the past for me and given me a chance to let love back into my heart because he prove to me he's worthy of my love.

My true love made me realize what love truly is. He treats me the way I need and want to be treated and I don't have to say a word. He treats me this way because he loves me for who I am, not who he wants me to be. I love him for all the same reasons and I treat him like the king he is. Our love runs deep and both of us have been hurt before. The care and passion we have for each other is unreal. We talk about everything that is on our minds and we have so much fun together. We have never been so happy before in our lives. There are many different things that say true love. From the smallest things to the biggest events, it all counts and it all matters. Hope this helps, everyone should know what love is once in their lives at least. It's the greatest feeling in the world.

when i first met my now husband, i had feelings that i couldn't explain. i had been sleeping in the library at my university, and when i woke up, he was sitting at a cubicle down from mine. i was instantly drawn to him, and i became very self-conscious. i had to talk to him, and i did. we talked for three hours, and have been together ever since. i knew within a week that i would marry him. you just know.

it was love at first sight. we had many things in common. we both wanted kids. (very important to me) he was good to my niece, who was an infant at the time. he was good to me. you will no when its love. if it were meant to be then he will come back. if not you will find that one true love when you least expect it.
