Unfortunately I don't think you can, but I darned sure would try. I had the numbers 666 in my bank account number and I tried to change it. They wouldn't let me so I closed it and opened another one. I was troubled any time I had to write those numbers to deposit or wiehdraw or even use the atm. God rid of them.

yes you can but your going to have to fill a lot of paperwork and you will have to pay for a new one. in nj it is about 100 bucks. also keep in mind that getting a new number may cause some problems getting a financial aid, a loan for a house and other things like that. i would ask these questions before you change your number

I would certainly refuse anything that has this number on it. If you already have had that number for a while, then you probably can"t change it, But if you are just now getting it, tell them you want another number. More than likely, they may change it.

The only way to change your social security number is to go through the courts and it needs to be under extenuating circumstances for privacy and protection of yourself from another. Even then, it's practically impossible.

Hahaha, I don't think you can change it, but that IS eerie. I don't think I'd like it either, but I don't think there's much you can do about it. It's only a number... and if you're a child of the Living God, satan has no power over you.
Don't sweat the number. =)
