If so, maybe God loves you more than this man.

Lioness in zoo kills man who invoked God
(Mon Jun 5, 8:31 AM ET Reuters)

A man shouting that God would keep him safe was mauled to death by a lioness in Kiev zoo after he crept into the animal's enclosure, a zoo official said on Monday.

"The man shouted 'God will save me, if he exists', lowered himself by a rope into the enclosure, took his shoes off and went up to the lions," the official said.

"A lioness went straight for him, knocked him down and severed his carotid artery."

The incident, Sunday evening when the zoo packed with visitors, was the first of its kind at the attraction. Lions and tigers are kept in an "animal island" protected by thick concrete blocks.

God will not save me, as the incident itself proved that the God does not exist. Moreover, if I am supposed to become the food of the lion, why I shall be saved. After all we are living on each other. Some times the lions become the food of the man.

Gods word said do not put him to the test!
If it is not of your accord such as Daniel, or the three shadrack meshack and abednego I believe God will be there but to jump into a lions den or volcano and say now God save me if you exist is really uuuumm silly.

I've read a lot about this incident in Russian press, but never saw this version. This man in Ukraine, originally from Azerbaijan, just committed suicide.

One missionary who is in the middle of the jungle and finds himself face to face with a lion who was almost dead from hunger.

The missionary becomes frightened and kneels. Beginning to pray, he says:

"Father, fill this poor lion with Christian feeling."

. . . A silence is heard . . .

and all of a sudden the lion kneels, saying:
"Father, bless this food which I am about to receive . . ."

Well, I think the man died because of FATE. God loves him more so He took the man's life. Moreover, I think the guy is silly to jump in the lion's cage like that. God will ONLY help people who help themselves.

That guy sounds like he deserves to have been eaten! God only saves those willing to save themselves and throwing himself into a lion den surely doesn't sounds like a smart thing to do!

God would save me... My name is Daniel!!

However, he wouldn't save me if I was stupid enough to do something like that. We are not to test God. That's like holding a gun to my head and pulling the trigger as I yell, "no weapon formed against them will prosper."

We are not to test God and we are to always have and use Godly wisdom.

God or no god, he can't help us on Earth unless his feet are firmly planted there. He's high on the clouds (so they say)! Besides, this bloke obviously needed help which he didn't get.
