If we have beliefs based on God why do we think about the beast today????

We shouldn't worry about the beast or burning in hell some day. God is our Holy Father and he won't let us down. Respect people, animals and nature. Don't support any kind of war or negative attitudes towards any living being. It's not hard really and you'll be OK. No matter what day it is today.

People get so hung up on 666. Let me remind everyone that today is 06/06/2006, just a date. If it was 666, there wouldn't be any zeros or twos in the number. The world will continue as it always has and we'll all be here answering questions again tomorrow.

The date...06/06/2006 yah sure...Honestly, by itself...NO BIG DEAL.
the answers before mine are good, but here is my THEORY for why todays date could be a big deal...
As you have seen, the devils number is, six hundred sixty six...666.
So grantid according to the calendar it is just another day...It is.
But in this SOCIETY/WORLD today, there are a lot of people, who....like the devil, even supposedly worship him.
So the way I see it as to why this day may be disastorous for others is that...MANY see the date as 6/6/06 or 666 forget the 2000/2006 part, the ones who like the devil may just shorten it, and my answer then is that ...
THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE INTO THE devil, AND INTO MAYBE worshipping him, or even who like his DEVIOUS WAYS.
They may be out to celebrate and raise all kids of h*ll for him today.
So if anyone is gonna worry about anything today, I think that is what a person may want to wory about, is THE PEOPLE, not anything else...just the people who may want to raise a little or a lot of mischief, even in the devils name...
They may see today as their chance to do for him.
AS DUMB AS IT MAY SOUND.

Some people that are Christians think of the number 666 and know of what it represents and means. We as Christians aren't exactly scared of this number for ourselves but more for our loved ones and friends who do not believe in God. The beast, Satan can come in many forms and in many ways. Christians know that he is always looking for ways to trip up or decieve Christian beliefs. Some Christian people are superstitious too and don't like the numbers 666. All we as Christians must remember is that we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ that He died on the cross for our sins and we accept Him into our lives and hearts and minds. Just believe that and you'll be fine.

Because people keep asking the same question over and over and over again. The date means nothing. There is more substance in a Mexican piece of "Jesus" toast than there is on 06/06/06 being anything more than a great way to promote a poor remake of The Omen.

It's just another day...the 666 in the bible is associated with a person. Not a date, place or time. We have nothing to fear from the spiritual realm. This was probably started by ppl that don't know their scripture, along with the hype of the the remake of the movie The Omen debuting today. Have a great day!

Many people believe that 666 is Satan's number. And they get stuck with this one. That is their choice.
What is important is for us to be relaxed with God and believe that God is the all powerful God. We are safe in His loving arms.
