If you contact the police, and you're associated with the inmate, they should be able to tell you when they are up for release.

sometimes they don't know the release date becouse forexample depends what the judge gives them. for example here in MIAMI the judicial year is 10 months. if he gets work release after words it depends... you have to get aproved by the judge.
