The umrah season will start by the end of this month as the summer school holiday start in Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region. In recent years, the Saudis had been active in arranging umrah trips all around the year, so it is rare that you can see Makkah not crowded.
If you are looking for medium-to-high class of accomodation, then you have to make a reservation before you get there. These are the best hotels in the Makkah region:

1. Sofitel Makkah
2. Elaf Kindah-Makkah
3. Makkah Hilton
4. Elaf Ajyad 3M
5. InterContinental Dar Al Tawhid
6. Ajyad Makkah
7. Dar Al Nadwa
8. Elaf Al Huda
9. Hotel Umm Alqura
10. InterContinental Makkah

If you are looking for somewhere decent and cheap, then you have to look around the ***** area when you arrive there. You will find something nice for sure. Just one favour: pray for us.

check out on Yahoo for Mecca Hotels.. alternatively, hotels near the Masjid ***** are expensive. especially if its the peak season and you may not get adequate rooms. ask your local umrah operator to get u good deals or else contact any of the travel agencies.
