The British jockey George Baker is reputed to be the tallest jockey in the weighing room, and I just wondered how tall he is.

I'm not sure, but I think Richard Hughes, who is also tall for a jockey is 5ft 9. At a guess I'd say George Baker is about 5ft 11, I wouldn't have thought anyone over 6ft could manage to ride at the low weights required without doing serious damage to themselves as most flat jockeys weigh between 8 and 8 1/2 stone.
