We are to live EVERY day to the fullest of God's glory. We are to live as though Christ's return will be today, Everyday. If we are doing that, then it day on the calendar (no matter which calendar you're looking at) really means nothing.
It's only 6-6-06 in the American/Christian calendars. Other religion/countries calendars are set different there for it's not 6-6-06 for them today at all.

Although our calendar year is (roughly) based on Christ's birth, today's date is just a man-made number. The number "666" is not an "evil omen" of something whenever the number happens to arise. Rather, it was used in John's Revelation as a symbolic representation of evil...of falling short of the perfection of God and his creation (which would be represented as "777"). The number 666 represents opposition to God....today's date is just a coincidental occurrence of the number.
Have a great day!

Why care for 06/06/06? Every year one similar type of date has to come, like 07/07/07, 08/08/08, 09/09/09 and so on. n earlier years also similar dates like 05/05/05, 04/04/04, 03/03/03, 02/02/02 and 01/01/01 passed, but nothing happened.
So worry not, nothing would happen. just go on with your work schedule.

I thought about this, too, and my friend reminded me that it is 6/6/6/ in other parts of the world, too, and their day started earlier than ours, and they are still here, so we should be good, too.
