I'm planning on experimenting with EVP and was looking for a bit of feedback from those who have got nothing AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS and those who have been successful too. I don't require anyone's personal or religious beliefs on the subject, as I plan on making up my own mind, hence experimentation, just looking for objective viewpoints from both sides, thanks.

I also am wanting to try EVP. I have tried it with an old tape recorder and really didn't get the results I wanted. Have you heard of the Big Circle? They are a group of souls here on earth and also on the other side that have been working to together on EVPs. I want to get better recording equipment and try again. I also heard that having large amounts of quartz crystals in the area help bring the energies through. Good luck in your attempts. I hope you get the results that you want.

I've captured hundreds of voices on tape over the last 5 years... Some of the best recording sessions I've experienced have in fact been in cemeteries. One of the best sessions yielded several evps when I had my girlfriend with me, we weren't directly asking for anyone to talk to us, we were just walking the rows looking at and talking about old dates and neat headstones and epithets and we captured probably a dozen short sentences in that half hour. I used to be alot more into it but it was getting to be a sort of odd obsession so I backed off the last year or so... There is a great group for evp on Yahoo, it's called "Grassharp" it for all levels of experience, you should join up... the link is posted below...

I know that it sounds cliche but try at your hometown cemetary.
There are many websites as well to contact that can help you experience an EVP. I have not tried the EVP myself as of yet. It is a facinating feild to get involved with - working with the paranormal.
