I drove down that street, it's freakin nuts. NVTS nuts!
And as an answer to the question that you were hoping to get wrong answers to, Long Beach actually has a higher gay population than San Fransisco (ah... I miss my hometown already, and it's only been 2 days), but San Fran is just more famous for it, and they are WAYYY gayer.

LOL... I have been there. You know at one time when GPS was new, they used that street as an advertisement. You know it could tell you where on Lombard street you were sorta thing. :)
