As an Army wife who has lived in 6 places in 5 years, that would have to be my motto. Actually, they say it's "Home is where the Army sends you." I wouldn't say I'm WELL-adjusted, but this is as good as it's gonna get for me right now. You can take the girl out of Texas, but you can take Texas out of the girl! Which is probably why my home decor screams Texas to anyone who walks in the door. (I even have a Texas flag shower curtain with matching bathroom accessories, and the Lone Star is all over the place in the living room.) Still counting down til we get to go home everyday...

They say home is where you hang your heart, so I suggest that get a hammer and nail it up already. Of course from time to time you need to straighten the painting.

Depends. If you're stuck, yes, make it livable either by adjusting yourself or the environment.
If not, see if you can find someplace better.
