It isn't the end of the world because people are technically off by 4,660 years! The true date for the end of the world according to many religious scholars and ceremonial texts is June 6, 6666. Or written another way 06/06/6666. This year even coincides with the Chinese calendar as the year of the Demon (wouldn't want to be born that day!). Many earthly events are also set to reference this particular date curiously by scientists. For example, the earth's natural resources are predicted to be completely exausted by this date in time, culminating in numerous disasters. Either way the end of the world won't be experienced by many generations to come!

No one predicted. I think it was just a lot of conjecture and marketing hype for the remake of The Omen.
Remember 06/06/06 is not a particularly unique and rare event ( at least once every 100 years)...

It's 6/6/06........If I were you I'd be worried about 2060. But even then, a something 60 happend every hundred years, which also, nothing happened yet. I think something may have happened 6 years after. So it would've been 6/6/6, too. But the point is 6/6/6 happens every hundred years, and it is definatley somethin other than the date. So, don't do the date thing. In the Bible it also said that that was the evil number....it said nothing about a date.

That is a bunch of hooey and nonsense. I have heard no rumors of any predictions for the end of the world today just because it is the sixth day of the sixth month of the sixth year---or 666 if you want to get technical. You should know better that these things are all a bunch of BS and only intended to scare people. Please don't tell me that you are another one of those religious nuts that believes all of the negative predictions and naysayers. Educated and intelligent people know better. The end of the world will only come about by the hands of man himself. Not by a so-called God or Devil or whatever you believe.

The same thing that happens to all the little cults that have disapointments at the end of the day when their predictions fail.
You cannot command God to do anything.
Yes! The day of destruction will come, but people should read their bible with someone who knows HOW to read it.
The average preacher just doesn't understand what he's talking about.

Revelation 13:11-18
Then I saw another beast which rose out of the earth; it had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed. It works great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in the sight of men; and by the signs which it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast, it deceives those who dwell on earth, bidding them make an image for the beast which was wounded by the sword and yet lived; and it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of the beast should even speak, and to cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty-six.

If there was any prediction, it was a fale prophecy. It is not time for the Anti-Christ to come on the world scene, though it is near. For now, God is still in control and He has a divine plan and He controls the timing of things, not man.

look at the year 2000/the new millenium.nothing happened even though they predicted that. u know why? because GOD is not going to come when every one is expecting him. the bible said like a thief in the night GOD will come. so stop listening to their predictions. all u have to do is live ur life well so that no matter when GOD comes u will be ready.
