actualy i brought home a cat and her three kittens
they were stray
but as they started bringing daily a mouse from outside
my mom and dad not allowed to keep them anymore
i agreed and i leave them at a place far away
they were so sweet
what i have done it's right or wrong?
even my house is small 1BHK.
my mom was afraid if there would be some infection to us due to mouse she used to bring.
but..they were so sweet.
i don't know where are they today.
help me what would you have done in such case?
I live in india. people are not that much crazy for pets here.

I had the exact same problem! My Step dad hated cats and at one point we had 13 (i know, a lot, but I LOVE cats). They were outdoor cats so its not like they were hurting anything. But one day he told us we had to get rid of them or he will. We could only find a home for 3 of them and he ended up taking the rest and dumping them on the side of the road (on the other side of town). But guess what? One of those kittens found its way back to our house!! How? I dont know, but he was smart. My mom made our stepdad keep the kitten. We dont have him anymore but he was one of the best cats we EVER had.

listen if want to keep them i really don't think anyone would allow, & i think u'r parents r correct in the matter of disease, but one thing u can do is if you have the facilities, u could just make a small house for them just beside your house & a bit away & u could meet them daily or if u go to play or go down u can just go everyday at that time & meet u'r lovely cat at that place or either just KEEP IT AS A PET, & let that rat problem not come in! if u liked my idas then fine otherwise see for more, but i think it'll work

Too bad. I don't know what else you could have done. I suppose there aren't many animal shelters in India? But the mother cat is obviously a good hunter, so there's a chance that they'll survive.

The mice they brought home was to give you a comp;iment, that is the ultimate compliment to you. maybe if they were fed more, they would not have hunteds so much but no guarantee, so you must let this go, and don't get attached to any other pets until you get to America and get your own to care for.
