I just don't get it - I want to know the true origin of PINK lemonade!?

Pink lemonade is pink because it has grenadine mixed with it. Grenadine is red, so when it's mixed with lemonade, the drink turns pink.

I'm just guessing, but it might have something to do with grapefruit being pink and maybe that's used for pink lemonade along with the lemons? For even imagining that I should get he answer! (I'm kidding, actually good question)

I know the origin! In the circus, somebody put their red tights in a bucket (bowl?) of lemonade. That made it pink.

I'm not sure about this so don't quote me on it OK? but I think it was from mixing pink grapefruit in it.
