Questions for the guys....
When do you consider a girl to be your girlfriend? After a certain number of dates? After a certain event? What makes her your girlfriend?

I definitly think its when you both make the agreement to be exclusive, otherwise you could see other people and it wouldnt be cheating. Ive had that experience and actually that event prompted some kind of commitment from us both.

dang stupid labels. I always date one girl at a time, passing up other chances is no big deal. I'll break it off if I don't like her. I always ensure she's exclusive with me if it's going past a second date, then the convo: talk about hating labels & not wanting to pressure her, but I love spending time togehter & want to keep seeing her. Do that conversation about two-weeks/3dates in maybe slightly more. Long as she's happy thru that convo, I'm calling her my gf to friends, & if she didn't tell me that was the case in the convo, she's gonna find out when I intro her that way when were out next.

I will take a line from Chris Rock: I'd never hit a woman... but I'll shake the sh*t outta them!! You can do a lot without actually hitting someone, like pinning them down or restraining them. Hell, you can break someone's wrist or arm without "hitting". Honestly though, if it looks serious and they're beating up my gf, all bets are off and I'm going to knock them the F out.

Really, there IS no definite way to chose. Really, if your best friend is of the opposite sex, then they could also be considered a bf/gf. Even if they are afraid to admit it, lie about it, say that it isnt true, if you hang out that close, you really are, and you just need to realize it. thing is, sometimes realizing it ruins it.
